ORDER ON MOTION OF UNITED STATES TRUSTEE TO COMPEL ACCOUNTING

Prior to January 26, 1996 a Chapter 11 debtor was obligated to make quarterly payments to the United States Trustee úntil the case was converted or dismissed, or a Chapter 11 plan was confirmed. That requirement was imposed by statute, 28' U.S.C. § 1930(a)(6). The statute provided a graduated quarterly fee schedule which depended on the amount of quarterly disbursements made by the Chapter 11 debtor-in-possession or trustee. The issue then was what payments were included in the word “disbursements”…
