On or about November 16, 1907, upon the application of the Attorney General of the state of New York based upon a report and complaint verified by the superintendent of banks of this state, Bruyn Hasbrouclc was appointed temporary receiver of said defendant bank, with the usual powers and duties of such a receiver. He executed his bond and entered upon the execution of his trust, taking possession of the bank and its assets. On or about the 14th day of December, 1907, the said Bruyn Hasbrouck was made one of the permanent receivers of said bank, and Charles M. Higgins was associated with him…
