I. Introduction

This appeal presents several issues arising from the seventy-month prison sentence of Defendant Nelida Rodriguez (“Rodriguez”) following her guilty plea to conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, 18 U.S.C. § 1349; mail fraud, 18 U.S.C. §§ 1341 and 2; and wire fraud, 18 U.S.C. §§ 1343 and 2. She argues, first, that her guilty plea violated her constitutional rights and was not knowing and voluntary.
