Pursuant to a judgment of separation dated October 22,1969, plaintiff was awarded exclusive possession of the former marital premises, and was charged with the exclusive obligation to maintain the premises and pay the monthly mortgage installments. On or about November 3, 1981, defendant moved for an order directing the sale of the premises and a division of the proceeds. By order dated January 6, 1982, defendant’s motion was granted, and it was directed that the premises be sold and the proceeds be divided equally.
