This suit was brought by Pebley, plaintiff below, against the Pensacola Gras Company, defendant, and the declaration alleges that 2 for years last past the plaintiff has been the owner and possessor of lots 1 and 2 *387and part of lot 3, square 25, in the East King tract, in the city of Pensacola, which is improved, and upon which the plaintiff has resided since November, 1884; that on or about June 15, 1814, the defendant erected in the vicinity of the said real estate, gas works for the manufacture of illuminating gas'from Naptha or oil, and have ever since been actively engaged in…
