—Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Broome County (Mathews, *782J.), rendered August 3, 1990, which revoked defendant’s probation and imposed a sentence of imprisonment.
Defendant was originally sentenced to time served and five years’ probation following his conviction of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree. Defendant contends on this appeal that the prison sentence of IVi to 7 years that he received after violating his probation was harsh and excessive and violative of his constitutional right not to be subjected to double jeopardy.
