ROBERTSON, Judge.

Naney K. Cardin appeals her conviction of sixteen counts of theft, all class D felonies. The State alleged that Cardin obtained checks belonging to her employer, negotiated them, and used the funds for her own purposes, without authorization from her employer and with the intent to deprive him of the money's use or value.
