MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

Plaintiff, United Overseas Bank, a Swiss corporation, filed this suit under the diversity jurisdiction of the federal courts, 28 U.S.C. § 1332, seeking to recover from defendant, Veneers, Inc., a Maryland corporation, on a bill of exchange dishonored by Veneers. The case is presently before the court on cross-motions for summary judgment.
