The articles of agreement for a planting partnership, executed in March, 1875, by complainant, Stewart, and Nichol, are carelessly drawn, They contain enough, however, to show, in themselves, the intention of the parties. It is clear that Nichol agreed to put in lands, at an estimated rent of $4,000.; and to advance, to the firm, the mules, implements, and supplies for the cultivation of the crop.
