OPINION

WEISBERGER, Justice.

This case comes before us on petition for certiorari filed by Thomas D’Ambra (employee) to review a decision of the District Court that upheld a determination of the Board of Review of the Department of Employment Security (the board) holding that the employee had voluntarily left his position of employment without good cause and was therefore not entitled to employment compensation benefits pursuant to G.L.1956 (1979 Reenactment) § 28-44-17.
