WEST, J.
The petitioner, Bennie Gray, appeals from the judgment of the habeas court denying his amended petition for a writ of habeas corpus. The petitioner claims that the habeas court improperly rejected his claim that his appellate counsel in his first habeas action rendered ineffective assistance by not advocating the *173correct standard for ineffective assistance of trial counsel in guilty plea cases. We affirm the judgment of the habeas court.
