The act of the Legislature, passed March 23, 1877, entitled “An act to increase the jurisdiction of the •chancery court/’ is as follows:

• “That jurisdiction of all civil causes of action now "triable in the circuit court, except for injuries to per*598son, property or character, involving unliquidated damages, is hereby conferred upon the chancery court, which shall have and exercise concurrent jurisdiction thereof along with the circuit court.”

Sec. 2 is.- “That from and after the passage of this act, no demurrer, for want of jurisdiction of the cause of action, shall be sustained in the chancery…
