OPINION

DIAL, Justice.

This is an appeal from a divorce decree finding that appellee’s child is a child of the marriage of appellant and appellee and ordering appellant to pay child support. Appellant denies he fathered the child. We reverse and render judgment for appellant.

Appellant raises four points of error. Points three and four present equal protection and due process objections to the difference in treatment of putative fathers based on marital status accorded by the version of Chapters 12 and 13 of the Texas Family Code in effect at the time of this suit, initiated June 1981.1…
