ESCHBACH, Circuit Judge.

Lloyd Schwartz, plaintiff below in a products liability diversity action, appeals from the district court’s denial of his motion for a new trial. For the reasons below, we affirm.

Lloyd Schwartz purchased a new Honda Express in 1977. The Honda Express is a small motorized two-wheeled vehicle with a top speed of approximately twenty-eight miles per hour. On December 4, 1977, he was riding the Honda Express on the causeway between Miami and Miami Beach when he lost control.
