At about 7:15 o'clock on the morning of February 8, 1946, the plaintiff, Clifford C. Cook, was employed by the M. J. Walsh Boiler Scaling Company, Inc. At that time Cook was totally blind in his left eye. The business in which the said corporation was engaged and the work which Cook was employed to perform were admittedly within the contemplation of the Louisiana Workmen's Compensation Law, — Act No. 20 of 1914, as amended.
