OPINION
FABE, Justice.
I. INTRODUCTION
Frank Miller is an Alaska Native who was terminated from his employment at Safeway after he refused to cut his hair in accordance with a corporate grooming policy. He sued on the grounds that the policy discriminated on the basis of race, religion, and gender, and that it violated his right to privacy. Miller subsequently moved to amend his complaint to add claims of breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, wrongful discharge, and common law privacy.
