BARNES, Presiding Judge.
Virginia Muckle was convicted of and sentenced for the crimes of voluntary manslaughter and aggravated assault in connection with the fatal stabbing of her estranged boyfriend. Muckle appeals from the denial of her motion for a new trial, contending that the trial court erred in denying her motion for a directed verdict of acquittal. Concluding that the jury was authorized to reject Muckle’s affirmative defenses of self-defense and defense of habitation, we affirm the judgment of conviction for voluntary manslaughter.
