This is an appeal from the Judgment of Sentence of the Court of Oyer and Terminer of Berks County denying appellant’s motion for a new trial.

On March 24, 1961, appellant, Charles Hornberger, was convicted by a jury of murder in the first degree for the death of his wife, Arlene Hornberger, and was sentenced to life imprisonment.
