Appeal from Rensselaer county court. Action by Jacob .Gram against the village of Greenbush for injuries caused by the accumulation of ice on a sidewalk. Verdict and judgment for plaintiff, and defendant appeals.

This action was brought by the plaintiff to recover damages for an injury occasioned by his falling upon a public street in Greenbush, which, as he claims, had become dangerous in consequence of an. accumulation of ice which the defendant negligently allowed to remain an unreasonable length of time. The action was tried in the county court, and the jury rendered a verdict in favor of the plaintiff for $475, upon which, judgment was entered in his favor.
