This case comes to us on discretionary review of the Court of Appeals’ opinion, reversing the Jefferson Circuit Court’s order suppressing the introduction of a handgun found in Appellant William Rai-ney’s vehicle following his arrest. Appellant, William Rainey, had sought to suppress the evidence obtained by the police from his vehicle without a warrant and argued that no valid exception to the search warrant requirement was proven.
