The plaintiff asserts several claims against the defendants arising from the discontinuation of his disability insurance benefits. Defendant UnumProvident (“Unum”) has filed a Motion for Summary Judgment on all of the plaintiffs claims and defendant Provident Life and Accident Insurance Company (“Provident”) seeks summary judgment in its favor on all but the plaintiffs breach of contract claim (Doc. 59). The plaintiff has filed an opposition memorandum (Doc. 68).
