The issue in this case is whether the Tennessee long arm statute, Tenn.Code Ann. § 20-2-214, and the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution allow courts in Tennessee to obtain personal jurisdiction over a defendant based on what has been termed the “conspiracy theory” of personal jurisdiction.
