This is an appeal from a judgment in an action by the payee against the maker and indorser of a promissory note for four thousand dollars. The maker, L. D. Allen, defaulted in the action, and after a trial of the issues framed by the complaint and the amended answer of the indorser, Mary A. Ruggles, the trial court, sitting without a jury, gave judgment for the plaintiff for the prin cipal sum, interest and costs. From that judgment the defendant, Mary A. Ruggles, appeals.
