| petitioner Barrett Cato petitions this court for a writ of prohibition or, in the alternative, a writ of certiorari, to prevent the Craighead County Circuit Court from exercising jurisdiction over him in an underlying tort case. The plaintiff in the underlying case, Kevin Lawrence, has filed a responsive brief.
