|2The defendant, Terrence Roshun Scott, was charged by bill of information with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, a violation of La. R.S. 40:967(A)(1) (Count 1), and illegal carrying of weapons while in possession of marijuana, a violation of La. R.S. 14:95(E) (Count 2). The defendant pled not guilty. Following a jury trial, he was found guilty of the responsive offenses of attempted possession with intent to distribute cocaine, a violation of La. R.S. 40:967(A)(1) and La.
