1Opinion of the Court

Thompson, Justice.

Tyree Marcus Sims and Maurice Shuntey Manee were jointly charged in a multi-count indictment in connection with the shooting death of Bobby Ingram, a taxicab driver. Manee entered guilty pleas to malice murder, theft, and possession of a firearm, and he testified at trial against Sims. Sims was convicted by a jury of felony murder (predicated on armed robbery and aggravated assault), and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. He appeals from the judgment of conviction and from the denial of his motion for new trial.
