This matter came before the Court sitting en banc as a Formal Complaint filed on September 26, 1995 by the Mississippi Bar against John Thomas Murphy, Jr., a member of the Bar now serving time in federal prison in Pensacola, Florida. Since Murphy entered a guilty plea to a felony charge in federal court, the Bar sought to disbar him pursuant to Rule 6(a) of the Rules of Discipline for the Mississippi Bar.
