BUNN, District Judge.

This is an application by John Richards, Thomas Caygill, and Samuel Treloar to have the proceeds of the sale of a stock of goods, amounting to the sum of $1,080.92, paid over to them by the trustee, to be applied uppn a judgment obtained in the state court against said bankrupt. The substantial facts are that the bankrupt, Richard T. Richards, having been elected in the spring .of 1897 as town treasurer of the town of Linden, in Iowa county, obtained'the consent of John Richards and Thomas Caygill to become his sureties upon an official bond which the law required him to…
