In this action brought by plaintiff Byblos Bank Europe, S.A., a Belgian bank, against defendant Sekerbank Turk Anonym Syrketi, a Turkish bank, plaintiff sought an order of attachment against defendant based on a money judgment entered by the Cour d’Appel de Bruxelles (Brussels Court of Appeal) on October 10, 2003 in favor of plaintiff and against defendant (the Belgian judgment). An order of attachment without notice was entered by this court (Suarez, J.) on March 16, 2006. Defendant now moves to vacate the order of attachment. By separate motion,…
