11 This is a criminal appeal.'- Darryl Griffin, the defendant, appeals his conviction and sentence for attempted second degree murder. For the reasons that follow, we affirm.1
STATEMENT OF THE CASE
On July 11, 2008, the State filed a bill- of information charging Mr. Griffin with attempted second degree murder, a violation of La. R.S. 14:30.1 and 14:27, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, a violation of La. R.S. 14:95.1. On July 17, 2008, Mr. Griffin was arraigned; and- he pleaded not guilty.
