Arthur Wilson shot and killed his brother Anthony with a handgun. Elizabeth Wilson, the mother of Arthur and Anthony, was found guilty of the murder of her son, and Arthur Wilson was found guilty but mentally ill of the murder of his brother.

On the day of the killing Anthony Wilson drove his truck to a garage, intending to leave it for repair. He telephoned his parents’ home and asked that someone come to the garage and take him home.
