OPINION

RICHARD H. EDELMAN, Justice.

Relator, Tara Compton, seeks an order compelling the respondent, the Honorable Janis Yarbrough, Judge of the 306th District Court of Galveston County (the “Galveston court”), to transfer a suit affecting the parent-child relationship (“SAPCR”) from Galveston County to Harris County. We conditionally grant the petition for writ of mandamus.
