Plaintiffs commenced a negligence action in Marquette County Circuit Court against Bechtel Power Corporation on December 27, 1977. The complaint was amended to include the other named defendants. Employers Insurance of Wausau was allowed to intervene in November, 1980. On March 15, 1984, Bechtel Power Corporation moved for accelerated judgment on the basis of a damage award plaintiffs received in an action tried in Texas in 1979.
