This was an action of ejectment brought by the plaintiff below, (also plaintiff in error,) for the recovery of her dower, as the widow of William A. Pratt.

The facts are found by special verdict,. and in legal effect may be stated briefly thus: The marriage took place in this State about the year 1844. The husband of the plaintiff became seized of the premises in question in 1857, and conveyed the same to the grantor of the defendant in 1858, the plaintiff not having-joined in the deed nor since released her dower.
