Following the grant of a mistrial, Ahmad Johnson (a/k/a Mavon Washington) was retried and convicted of multiple offenses relating to a violent home invasion that resulted in severe injuries to the female resident and her elderly neighbor and the subsequent shooting of a law enforcement officer. On appeal from the denial of his amended motion for new trial, Johnson does not challenge the sufficiency of the evidence.
