Two petitions were filed in the probate court to appoint a guardian of the person and conservator of the estate of Carolyn Storz Brown, a twenty-one year old woman. One petition was filed jointly by Effie Belle Storz, Carolyn’s mother, and Edith Sylvester, Carolyn’s sister, requesting appointment of Mrs. Storz as guardian and conservator. A cross-petition was filed by Larry Craig Brown, Jr., Carolyn’s husband, requesting that he be appointed guardian and conservator.
