The defendant was indicted in the Criminal Court of Baltimore for manslaughter in causihg the death of Amelia A. Miller through an abortion performed on her by him. He demurred to the indictment, and the demurrer being overruled he was convicted and was sentenced to the penitentiary for ten years. Nine bills of exception were taken to the admissibility of evidence, and the questions thus presented, together with the demurrer, are now before us for determination.
