Mr. Justice Cothran.

The defendant was indicted and tried in the county court of Greenwood County upon the charge of manufacturing whiskey. At the close of the testimony the defendant moved for a directed verdict upon the ground that there was no testimony to go to the jury to support a verdict against him. The motion was refused, the jury rendered a verdict of guilty, and the defendant was sentenced to 12 months’ imprisonment.
