LOGAN, Circuit Judge.

Defendant Robert A. Stenzel appeals his convictions under the Assimilative Crimes Act for concealing his identity, disorderly conduct, failure to exhibit evidence of financial responsibility, and failure to exhibit evidence of vehicle registration. 1 On appeal, he asserts that the court (1) violated his Sixth Amendment right to a jury trial, (2) erred in not recusing itself, and (3) violated his Sixth Amendment right to effective assistance of counsel because his attorney was not allowed to make a closing argument.
