Appellant-defendant appeals here from a judgment of the circuit court wherein he was tried as a youthful offender following an indictment on the charge of burglary in the first degree. He plead not guilty. The trial court, hearing the evidence ore tenus and without aid of the jury, adjudged the defendant guilty and sentenced him to twenty-seven months in the custody of the Director of the Department of Corrections.
