Defendant, Dreyer Medical Clinic (Dreyer), appeals after the trial court ordered that its attorney be prohibited from engaging in ex parte communication with Dr. Paul Berwick, the treating physician for plaintiff, Judith Testin. Dr. Berwick is an employee, shareholder and director of Dreyer. The trial court also ordered that defense counsel, William Cunningham, pay a $100 fine for contempt of court for announcing that he intended to violate the court’s order.
