1Opinion of the CourtSherwood, C. J.
This action is brought by plaintiff to recover of the defendant the value of services rendered for her as attorney and counselor at law in the prosecution of a suit in the circuit court for the county of Washtenaw, in chancery, wherein Isaac N. Bumpus was complainant, and Myron M. Bumpus was defendant, — a partition case, — for the division of eighty acres of land. The plaintiff appeared in the case for defendant and disclaimed, Myron having, before the suit was commenced, quitclaimed his interest in the land to this defendant; and nothing further seems to have been done in the case.
