BARNES, Presiding Judge.
A jury convicted Glenn Elliott Haymer of voluntary manslaughter and aggravated assault, and the trial court denied his motion for new trial. On appeal, Haymer challenges the sufficiency of the evidence. He also contends that the trial court made several impermissible comments during the trial, including a statement during the defense’s cross-examination of a police detective indicating that it was “quite all right” for police officers to provide false information to a suspect during a custodial interview to “test” the suspect.
