1Opinion of the Court

SYKES, Circuit Judge.

This appeal challenges an award of costs and attorneys’ fees imposed against Attorney Gregory Vacala as a sanction for his postsettlement obstructionism that necessitated an otherwise unnecessary motion to enforce the parties’ settlement agreement. We agree with the district court that Vaca-la’s conduct was sanctionable. Moreover, his appeal is frivolous. We order Vacala to pay reasonable attorneys’ fees and double costs as a sanction pursuant to Rule 38 of the Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure.
