McKenna v. McKenna

Missouri Court of Appeals

Decided October 21, 1980No. 42197PublishedCited by 19 opinions

1Opinion of the Court

CLEMENS, Senior Judge.

In this dissolution of marriage action husband Michael McKenna appeals from the decree. He challenges neither its dissolution nor child-custody provisions. However, he specifically contends the trial court twice erred in its decree: First, in awarding the wife Jo Ann McKenna an undivided half-interest in real estate, which he contends was his separate property, not marital property as treated by the trial court. Second, he contends the wife had adequate means to pay her own attorney fees and the court erred in ordering him to pay her $950 for that fee.
