GARWOOD, Circuit Judge:
Plaintiff-appellant Robert Glen Hamill (Hamill) challenges the district court’s dismissal of his 42 U.S.C. § 1983 claims against several state actors. He alleges these appellees denied his Sixth Amendment right to counsel during state court contempt proceedings that eventually resulted in his being imprisoned for failing to pay child support.
