lain this nursing malpractice case, the jury returned a verdict in which it assessed fault to a medical equipment manufacturer, a registered nurse, and a patient, and awarded damages to that patient and his wife. On the plaintiffs’ motion, the trial court granted a judgment notwithstanding the verdict (JNOV), finding the registered nurse to be the sole party at fault and increasing the jury’s general damage awards to the plaintiffs.
