As a result of a'collision between a taxicab and a Ford convertible, at the' intersection of Broadway and Eighth Street in Louisville, around 1:30 p. m. on Memorial Day, 1949, personal injuries were received by three passengers in the taxicab and by the driver of the Ford and his wife. The three passengers sued the taxicab company and its driver, and the driver of the Ford. The latter and his wife sued the taxicab company and its driver.
