On Barrett-Crofoot, Inc.’s (“Barrett-Cro-foot”) motion to dismiss, the court determines that a general partner who has filed for bankruptcy protection under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code may file an involuntary petition against its partnership. On January 13, 1988, the court held a hearing on the motion which requests the court to dismiss the involuntary bankruptcy petition filed by J.P.’s Family, Inc.
