*1251In this appeal, defendant, Noe A. Aguliar-Benitez, seeks review of the denial of a motion to suppress an incriminating statement taken during a custodial interrogation, the denial of a motion for new trial based on the failure to suppress that incriminating statement, and the excessiveness of his sentences for convictions of attempted aggravated rape and sexual battery.
